Job Description

Position Summary: The Beverage Cart Attendant is responsible for the complete set-up of the beverage cart and providing food and beverage service for all golfers while observing proper golf etiquette to ensure proper flow of play.  He/she needs to maintain the service and cleanliness of the beverage cart, ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction, and control of the inventory.

Responsibilities include:

  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Mountain Shadows standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and nametag when working
  • Comply at all times with Mountain Shadows standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient golf operations
  • Maintain a warm friendly demeanor at all times
  • Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and fellow employees
  • Process guests' checks, collect cash and process credit cards and room charges according to standards
  • Serve guests with all food and beverage requirements in a warm, friendly, courteous, and professional manner
  • Ensure beverage cart is kept clean, tidy and properly stocked with par levels; report any malfunctions
  • Drive beverage cart continuously throughout golf course in a prescribed safe manner according to standard operating procedure
  • Follow all state liquor laws
  • Follow prescribed procedures in serving liquor with care to avoid problems with intoxicated guests, and when necessary, report to management
  • Keep accurate accountability of all sales
  • Complete requisitions to maintain par levels as needed

  • Must adhere to practices of occupational safety and  health.
